I was just wondering how people feel about xhtml. (In other words, coding that allows pages to look the same no matter what browser or resolution.) I am kind of new to this, and i need to know some pros and cons. From what i have found so far, xhtml is perfect for basic pages without images. But with xhtml, you need to be careful about image size and what format. So basically, is it really worth it?

Xhtml seems to be the recent web-dork craze. Everybody has a "valid xhtml" button at the bottom of their site. And if all pages become xhtml, what will be the standard? (currently I.E. 1024 x 768)

Sorry for babbling on and on. Yeah, im a dork.
