The world is moving faster now,
I'm on a changing course,
But you have helped me deal with life,
You have been a stable force.

When nothing else held together,
Or made the slightest bit of sense,
You helped me restore,
My inner confidence.

Although you are in my mind,
Only and image of who I once was,
You still give me the advice,
That I would have given myself when I was still an innocent sensible little girl.

Things in my life are a constant reminder,
Of who I once was,
And although I seem different than I was before,
I am still, deep down, the little girl everyone seemed to love.
