Okay, so I've uploaded my image, put the codes(got from tutorial found on this site) and all that madness in the right places, but I still can't figure out how to get my text in the picture spot I made for it. I'm using PSP to make the picture, and I'm frankily confused to the point of giving up. Here's the code:
CODE <!-- begin code provided by createblog.com --> <img src="http://img9.imgspot.com/u/04/311/07/Skin1.jpg"> <!-- end code provided by createblog.com --> <!-- begin code provided by createblog.com --> <DIV style="margin-top: TOPpx; margin-left: LEFTpx; width: WIDTHpx;OVERFLOW: auto; height:HEIGHTpx; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent"> <!-- end code provided by createblog.com --> <!-- begin code provided by createblog.com --> <style type="text/css"> .#rblEprops{display:none;} #pnlEnabled table, #htmleditor, #lblTimeZone, #pnlEprops, #rblEprops /* width of the comment page */ {width:245px;} .leftmoduletitlebar, .leftmoduleborder, .leftmoduleinterior, table.left, table.left TH, table.left TD, table.navigation, table.footer {display: none;} </style> <!-- end code provided by createblog.com --> <!-- begin code provided by createblog.com --> <style type="text/css"> table.header { width: 602px; } table.navigation { width: 602px; border: none; } table.footer { width: 602px; border: none; } table.main { width: 602px; border: none; } table.left {width: 180px; border: 1px solid #000000; background-color: #000000;} } body { background: #000000 url(http://images.cbstaff.com/xanga/04/0893_bg.jpg) fixed; scrollbar-arrow-color: #EE2200; scrollbar-track-color: #000000; scrollbar-shadow-color: #EE2200; scrollbar-face-color: #000000; scrollbar-highlight-color: #000000; scrollbar-darkshadow-color: #000000; scrollbar-3dlight-color: #EE2200; } .left, .blogbody, table.footer, .standard, .leftmodulefontcolor, td, p { /* edits main text */ font:normal 9px Tahoma; line-height:12px; color: #EE2200; letter-spacing:1px; text-align:justify; } table.footer TD { /* this makes the footer at the bottom centered */ /* leave it alone unless you know what to do*/ text-align: left; } div.blogheader, .caption { /* edits the dates */ font-family:tahoma; text-transform:Uppercase; font-size:14px; line-height:15px; font-weight:bold; color:#EE2200; letter-spacing:0px; background-color: #000000; border: 0px solid black; text-align: center; border-top: 2px solid #EE2200; border-RIGHT: 2px solid #EE2200; border-left: 2px solid #EE2200; border-bottom: 0px solid #EE2200; width:600px; } a:link, .footernav.link, a.footernav:link, a.footernav:active { /* edits all links */ color: #FFFFFF; font: 10px tahoma; line-height:9px; text-decoration: bold; } a:visited, a.footernav:visited, { /* edits the links that the user has visited */ color: #EE2200; font:10px tahoma; line-height:9px; text-decoration:none; } a:active{ color: #FFFFFF;} a:hover { /* edits when user mouseovers the links */ color: #EE2200; font: 10px tahoma; line-height:9px; cursor: crosshair; text-decoration: line-through; text-transform: bold; } input, select, textarea, .textfield, . button { /* this edits the buttons, dropdowns, etc. */ border: 1px solid #EE2200; font:normal 9px tahoma; background-color: transparent; letter-spacing:0px; color: #EE2200; } .smalltext { text-align:center; } table.left { /* this edits the menu module */ border: 2px solid #EE2200; width:0px; background-color: #000000; } table.blogbody { /* this edits the other the place where the blog is */ border: 2px solid #EE2200; background-color: #000000; width: 600px; border-top:2px solid #EE2200; border-right:2px solid #EE2200; border-left: 2px solid #EE2200; border-bottom:2px solid #EE2200; } table.left th { /* on your menu module, this edits the title part of it */ /* like BLOGRINGS, POSTING CALENDAR, etc */ background-color: #000000; font: bold 9px tahoma; text-transform: uppercase; color: #EE2200; border: none; } table.left TD { /* on your menu module, this edits the body part of it */ background-color: #000000; border: none; } table.TD, table.announcements TH { /* this should be left alone */ /* unless you know what to do */ border: 0px solid #EE2200; } table.navigation, table.main, table.footer { /* the width of your blog with modules */ width: 600px; } hr { /* horizontal divider */ border: 1px solid #EE2200; } table.left, table.navigation, table.footer, HR, td.mainleft{display: none;} .leftmoduletitlebar, .leftmoduleborder, .leftmoduleinterior, table.navigation, table.footer {display: none;}; </style> <!-- end code provided by createblog.com --> I borrowed some of the code from another girls skin to see what I needed to differently, and it got me even more confused. Okay, so to put it simply: I made a blogging part in my picture where I want my text to go, then had the navigation on the left side - but for some reason I can't figure out how to get my text (posts) INSIDE of the picture, it just drops below, like the picture itself is a background. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. I'd give someone a warm spot on the cheek for some information. My AIM is Bamont2607. Thank you all so much. I only got this far because of the people on this site and their great works. |
