div.blogheader, .caption {
/* edits the dates */ font-family:Comic sans ms; text-transform:uppercase; font-size:11px; line-height:30px; font-weight:bold; filter: alpha (opacity=100, finishopacity=0, style=2); height: 1px; background-color:#9966ff; color:white; letter-spacing:1px; text-align: center; } ---------------------------------------- Okay, the above code with the color "9966ff" was what I was going to change my color to when I changed my xanga background to black. This is the code that kinda fades the blog header, but when I put my xanga background to black, the purple color (9966ff) becomes dark, and it fades to black, or near back. I was wondering if there was a way to go from that color, to lighter...without making the entire thing DARK and then fading to black. let me know if it was confusing, I'll try to clarify. |
