[Heathasm]

"Us Three Girls"

Three girls lying in the sky
A Nymph and Faerie drinking rye
Along and on the milkyway
Sliding down the stars with me
Up and down on creamy rays,
Slip and slide and scrape their knees

Laurels create a triumphant lake
Among the land of nod and wake
Always there and there to greet
Before I wake or go to sleep
In the land of stars that shine
On us three girls, in the sky

The Nymph and Faerie clash their hair
Yellow and black, with strands to spare
Of brown and gold laced in mine
Making beautiful, dark gold lines
Of strings around our lazy lives
Strung like silk, but bound so tight

May night flowers bloom at night
As virgin pixies at first sight,
As the day slowly comes
The seeded bulbs come undone-
Fill up pores in the sea
Bloom and rest on top of three

Stars flow in and in between
Us three girls, in the sea
Of fire-lights and moony-nights
Of clouds of white and snow
Of draperies fallen as black as the sea,
We sit on top and glow
