vector help on photofilter Options

ok im new at using photofiltre & ive never posted on createblog before so sorry if i make mistakes.

this is the very first vector that im in the process of making. its not very good, i know.

if you look closely you can still see my eye. because its a different color. i would like to make my eye black, but whenever i use the fill tool it just turns my whole face black.

help? =)
