Customizing my MySpace, A few last tweaks... Options

I came here quite some time ago to receive help in customizing my MySpace (found here)... your guys' help was much appreciated :) Now I'm back to get some help with a few final tweaks that I can't seem to fix myself.

First, a screenshot:


What I'd like help with:
- Starting at the top, I'd like to be able to remove the top links and Google Search area. I've attempted to apply scripts found both on the web and here on cb, but nothing seems to work. How might I go about removing this area?
- Moving down, I'd like to be able to remove the borders on all of my content, on the left-most side.
- URL box: I have the code in place to hide the box, but I'd like to completely remove it- and have my interests section move up.

What I'd like help with:
- I have code in place to remove the bottom text links, but it leaves a giant space. I found code here on cb to get rid of the space, but it didn't work. Any idea how to fix this?
