layout for the blog not the profile Options

hi everybody,
i couldnt find anywhere how to customize my blog (when you click to view the blog entries). when i click customize, i can only choose a background color & font color in the blog section, but i still have the background image i put for my profile. i dont understand how to get rid of it without changing at the same time my profile background i've seen several myspaces with a different image background in the profile & in the blog though. i bet this is simple but i really dont know how to create a layout for the blog, everybody's talking about the profile but how about the blog??
