So, what songs do you think will get a ton of airplay this summer? Here are mine:

Nelly Furtado, "Promiscuous Girl" and "No Hay Igual" - I can't get these songs out of my head. It's nice to hear Nelly being all fun and stuff again. I'm eagerly anticipating her new album.

Kanye West, "Impossible" - Kanye is a genius, man. 'Nuff said.

Lupe Fiasco, "Kick Push" - The old school feel is like that and I love the narrative the song tells. It's the type of song you can play in your car, windows rolled all the way down, and just cruise to, you know? Pure gangsta lean.

T-Pain, "I'm N Luv Wit A Stripper" remix feat. Twista, Pimp C, Paul Wall, MJG, and R. Kelly - I really hate to put this up here on my hot summer tracks list as this song was worn out like a pair of old stretch pants on a 400 lb woman but...the remix is hot. It's worth it just to hear R. Kelly's crazy rap-sung verse at the end. And Pimp C! Out of jail and making music! And I also like how T-Pain went straight Bone Thugs with his delivery.

Baby Cham, "Ghetto Story" - You just have to listen to it. The song is a really poignant tale of Cham's life in a Jamaican ghetto, but the riddim driving it is so damn infectious. Conscious and dancable, why isn't more music like this?

Busy Signal, "Step Out" - I'm not well versed in dancehall and patois still escapes my grasp, but I love this song. Booty shaker.

Damone, "Out Here All Night" - The first time I heard this song, I disliked it. It confused me. The opening riffs are so metal and then...a chick singer? :-O It's grown on me and now I can't get it out of my head.

The Raconteurs, "Steady, As She Goes" - Why is this song so cute? I love it, it's so infectious.

PANIC! at the disco, "But It's Better If You Do" - This song is going to be all over the TV and radio airwaves, be prepared.
