Ok, I'm doing my own DIV layout. I did some reading up on here, and I didn't quite find some of the answers I'm looking for. So, hopefully some of you out there can help me.
1. I've layed out specific spots for each category in my new layout. I used photoshop to get things the way that I'd like them to look. So, I'm using that image as my background. I've left sections for my basic info (where your user profile picture is), blurbs, stats, interests, comments, and latest blog entries. My question is, does anyone know the individual DIV codes for those sections so that I'm able to move them into the correct areas on my background? 2. Is there a way to make your comments and other sections backgrounds transparent so that my actual background is visible behind the writing? 3. My third and final question is is there a way to make sure a section is a specific height and width. I know if they go over they'll insert the scroll bars, and I don't mind the vertical scroll bars, but I don't want the horizontal ones. I want each section to fit perfectly. I know that might seem like a lot to ask but I've been reading up on this stuff all day, and I still can't figure these things out. |
