left column all the way to the left - pls help, my left column isn't centered on my page Options

my myspace page consists of the left and right column (as usual). when i view it in firefox, the left column is all the way over to the left side. the right column is where it should be. when i view my page in internet explorer, both columns are pushed over to the left. i'd like to have both columns next to each other, in the center like normal. here is what i'm using for my layout
