One Entry Per Page code for Premium skin, per title Options

Question for the awesomely talented people who can understand these codes. I've already contacted Xanga about this and the answer I recieved was talk to the source of the code.

There is a 1-entry per page code listed in the forums. However on my skin this code will not work. I've posted it in the skin html code, in my website stats, and also tried putting it in both consecutively. Still nothing.

My hope is to make it a one-entry site with the two <> button/images as my forward/back buttons.

Any ideas would really be appreciated.
