border help on xanga layouts |

hey I am working on a code for my xanga and I am trying to get a border around my xanga blog entries and menu.... like dotted, dashed, grooved, ridged etc.... but the only ones that will show up are solid, dotted and dashed. the other ones wont and it has in the past but right now its not doing anything. whenever i put in grooved, ridged, inset, or outset, it will either go to solid or not show up at all. can someone help me please???
