HELP! regarding "alpha-ing" entry background Options

[bun_xan]

Hello guys,
I am recently changing the background of my entries into image background.
However, i wonder if it is possible to make the entry background semi-transparent???

there is my code used for the entry background image:

<style type="text/css">
table.blogbody {border:2px solid #000000;
background-image:url("IMG_URL");
background-color:#FFFFFF;
background-repeat:repeat-y;
background-position-x:100%}
</style>

Thanks a lot.
