HELP. divs+comment box=death., I know this has been mentioned before.. Options

Alright, so i've searched these forums and i arrive at different answers, none of which work for me.

So I did my first div overlay today. Hid my myspace and did everything from scratch. The last thing I wanted was to simply make a table, position it, and have my comments show up in it.

I can't even get the table where I want it and I don't know why, but the main problem is that the codes i've gotten make the comments show up but also the friends space.

So, my question is, is there any way to put a table where you want and have your comments show up in it, while hiding your friends space? [ So that the comments are all that are there ]

Help would be greatly appreciated.

Also, the codes i've gotten thus far to make the comment box show don't let you have "display:none" anywhere, and thats just what is hiding my friends space, so they conflict.

I know it can be done. :/
