Cupid's Tainted Arrows, ..hear the cries Options

Thought I write something to cure my boredom...(just bending the story a little)


The day is fast approaching,
The Year has already begun.
Cupid has shot his arrows,
This we know cannot be undone.

Flapping his little angel wings,
Bow and Arrows ready in hand,
He seeks out his victims,
Striking them down where they stand.


Screams and cries,
As Cupids arrows pass on by.
Piercing each victims minds and heart,
Cascading from the dark blue sky.

As heartache bodies clustered along the streets,
Crowed and bunch within the schools,
Cupid would only smile and laugh,
Because he intentional missed a few.

But before that day, every year,
The regretful maiden Psyche would appear.
With her evil schemes,
Holding her poisonous cream,
She would taint Cupid's arrows
While he lies in his dreams.

As the poison leaked through,
Scorching the vessels from within,
Releasing everything that has been subdued
Every desire and every sin.

As havoc begins to emerge,
While Cupids rest on the verge,
for the following year.
All that has been spilled,
Is pain and blood drawn tears.
