i say book, cause the director might mess everything up and the movie won't make sense. i just realize i spelled version wrong!!

i think that books are better because you can think as everything as you want. reading a book kinda makes it fun. but watching a movie is much easier than trying to read a really thick book!
 but you're right, sometimes they make bad movies based on books.
