i say book, cause the director might mess everything up and the movie won't make sense. i just realize i spelled version wrong!!

In most cases, films are based on books .... so naturally, the book will always be better since it was the original. The same goes with sequels .... Sequels are never better than the original film. However, there are some examples that break the rules .... but that isn't important.
What is important is that books and movies are completely different. I don't think its fair to say that it is a director's fault if a movie isn't as good as the book .... because it is virtually impossible to live up to something original. Movies cannot be as detailed as books are because there's only so much you can show in a film. With novels, you have all the time in the world to read it .... with movies you have about 2 hours. |
