do you have low self-esteem? if so, why? if you did, how did u got rid of it? if you don't, good.
yall'd probably say i'm shallow, but it does affect my self-esteem |

I've got low self-esteem too. I'm always looking at what I can't do.
Why do I have Low Self-Esteem?: Appearence: i've got tons of frizzy, culry, ugly hair. I'm short and i always get picked on for that. My sister is 2 years younger than me and looks like shes 5 years older than me. And I always hate it when people tell me that my sister looks older or people mistake my sister for being older. I'm really not a good looking person. And thats what brings my slef-esteem down even more. which weekens my chance of high slef-esteem Athletic and Girly: I'm not athletic either. I just love volleyball though!! But that isn't enough cause people apparently find that you don't need skill to play volleyball. (which is stupid!) And they say volleyball is a girly sport and that auomatically makes me a girly-girl. And girly-girls aren't excepted in my homeroom.... again, more low self-esteem. Talents: I also feel like I'm not good at anything. That someone is always better at even the one thing Im good at. People tell me I'm a great dancer, then they turn around and say im a slut for dancing the way I do. So I never win. And I think this Really does cause low self-esteem, because your not sure if people are being honest with you. And if they aren't, I feel like I'm NOT good at anything. I think people is what cause low self-esteem. And I definately need to work on that. Those are just few of the reasons why I have low self esteem. And thats not good. You don't want to be concieted, but people AND especially ME need to lern that you also have to know that your not a waste of something. And i agree that maybe most people who have low self esteem, just need to lern how to like themselves on their own. People who have tried to help me have all failed. Some even made it worse on how they said the words. (sorry some of this may seem a bit off topic) |
