Getting to know a crush through AIM, good idea? bad idea? |

Ok, so theres this one girl at school i currently have a crush on. But you see, i'm very shy in real life and while i do talk to her whenever possible, I still get nervous and i'm not sure what to say.
i was thinking that maybe it would be a good idea to ask her for her AIM screen name (if she even has one) and get to know her better with this method and maybe help speed things up. I say speed things up because i'm often very slow when trying to get to know the girls I have crushes on and sometimes i think that my window of opputunity quickly fades away because of this. What do you people think about getting to know a crush through AIM or any other instant messenger? |

hmm thats what i did with my crush and now we're going out. but uhh also talk to her in school other wise its gonna be akward since you're used to talkin on the internet instead of in person
