OMG! My dad is so OVERPROTECTIVE! What should I do?? At this rate I'll NEVER get a boyfriend
 ! I have a friend, who I've known forever, recently he told me that he liked me, I like him too, but my dad doesn't like his family. And plus I'm kinda not allowed to speak, see or even IM him. Bummer, I know. When I was little my dad used to make me ALWAYS Recite "No boyfriends forever and ever" I always thought it was a joke, until he began to take it seriously, it's soooo effin embarrassing!  I wanna be all "Get off my back" to him becuse he ALWAYS has to remind me that his family isn't as high up in the socials. My mom thinks he's cute and well-mannered, from all the times he was at my house. (while my dad was away) What should I do?

My dads like that too. I talk to my sister about boys, though. She takes me like.. everywhere. You just have to see it from his point of view. He doesn't wanna lose his little girl... My older sister got her boyfriend (she's 17) and now she's hardly ever at home anymore.
