our school dance is coming up and i think certain person might ask me to the dance, but i can't go because my parents are really strict. If he asks me, how should i respond so i don't sound stupid and he'll still like me?

why would he ask you to a dance if he didn't wanna go out with you? =/ it doesn't make sence to me, but who knows about guys now
