valetines day is coming, and i need some advice Options

so here's the thing. as of right now, im single again. why? well my gf broke up with me like last week. Thing is, valentines day is in about a week. Now, I don't know what to do: should i try getting something for my recent ex? (why would i do that? well b/c when she broke up with me, it seemed as if she didnt want to, but had to. then again i asked her if she still liked me - her answer was "idno") or something for a different girl that I like, and perhaps likes me back. So yeahh... this is a two part question

Should I get something for my ex because... I want her back, even though chances are slim we'll get back, or get something for this new girl?

then

What should I get? b/c every year I always end up getting a single red rose. Should I do that again? or get something different?

finally

any advice to improve my relationship with my ex or new girl?

well...its sounds like ur ex is confused... so move on.. but still give her smthn little for vday...cuz more or less i think she'd want it. ( i know i'd like to get smthn from my ex.. but he's just being such a bastard about things..n yes i dumped HIM)..and make sure its clear that you tell her you still wanna be friends or smthn.. that way you can give the NEW girl smthn too.. n try ur luck there. so for your ex it can just be this one last time for old time's sake.
