due to my earlier knowledge, the term "chink" was supposed to be a disrespectful way of calling chinese people. but somehow it became an usual word that some chinese kids call themselves today. i don't see a lot of koreans going around calling themselve "gook, or hispanic people calling themselve "spic". black people also get offended when u use the word "nigger" in front of them. i don't understand y would people use a racial slur to describe their own nationality.

i have a friend that call her self chink.. or she want people to call her thier.. iLLEST CHiNK .. black people don't call there self nigger..they say nigga.. but i have some filipino friends that says nigga.. and ma friends that black are cool w/ it.. i kno im filipino but i wouldn't say nigga to a black person..its just like my cousin said she half blakc nd half fiilipino.. "just because your hella cool w/ blacl people dosn't mean you can say nigga" i agree w/ that that's why i don't call any of my friend nigga i think for filipino sayin nigga is rude..
