Here's the thing.....my n my frenz juz wanna skip class whenever itz music cuz it bores us out....but there's this guys in our class who always threatens to tell...n when we took off early once he told on us....im not in trouble but how can i get him to stop threatening my frenz n i....?

A teacher's response to this topic:
If the class is boring or gives you a headache, ask your guidance counselor to switch classes. If the class is a requirement for promotion or graduation, you have to deal with it eventually. I understand students skip class, and that's a part of life. However, I make sure to penalize my students for cutting. (If you miss a day's work without an excuse, your paycheck gets reduced ... if you miss a day in my class w/out a legit excuse, I lower the grade slightly.) Also, beware of school policy. In the school I work in, too many unexcused absences from my class results in AUTOMATIC FAILURE. It might not seem fair, but think of it like this. If you were a supervisor, and your employee is not at work, you would have to fire him or her, because that employee is unreliable. |
