Most people obviously know that Santa Claus doesn't exist, but most parents lie to young children every year that Santa Claus exists and stuff like that, and on Christmas day, the gifts "are mysteriously under the Christmas tree" and the parents say Santa Claus gave it to them (when the parents really know he didn't).
Should parents keep lying to them or not? |

I'd lie, too.
It's just a nice little tradition. Why spoil it when they're young? You can tell them when they get a bit older and already have figured out most of it on their own.. but not when they're young. That just ruins the fun for the little kids. |
