As far back as I can remember, the groundhog has always ended up "seeing its shadow" on Groundhog's Day. Well, of course it will. Logically, a groundhog would return to it's home, whether it was scared by a shadow or not, after seeing a million faces staring at it. So we've set ourselves up to be let down...over and over again. To me, Groundhog's Day is only good for 59˘ cheeseburger's from McDonald's...do you believe in this myth/tradition?

what kind of idiotic thing is ground hog's day anyway???
if the ground hog sees his shadow, its winter for longer... but in order for it to see its shadow it has to be SUNNY. if he doesn't see his shadow, its spring but it has to be CLOUDY wtf, makes no sense. wtf is a ground hog anyway lol and why do THEY get their own special day, why of all animals is it a ground hog? rofl |
