First off I wanna say I wuzn't sure where 2 place this topic, & I tried 2 pic the best place this topic belonged in...so don't knock me 4 "putting it in the wrong place."

But yeah, this is a song I wrote called "Forever Young"...sorry if it's too long . It's kinda a biographical song of James Dean's, Marilyn Monroe's, & Jim Morrison's Lives, but I'm just gonna do the James Dean verse & the chorus cuz it's TOO long. So here it goes ...

This is Dedicated to the ones
Who will always be...
FOREVER YOUNG

Oh Jimmy
Mr. Dean
Looked as if he steped out of a dream
Had a girl who was as beautiful as can be
She went by the name of Pier Angeli
Everything was all goo, there seemed to be no problem
There was only one thing in the way, her big Italian mama
Always brought the drama
Saying "He's not the one...that you will marry"
"He's not Catholic, he won't let that racing quit,
& he's not my pick"
So when Jimmy was ready to film "Rebel"
Pier told him "Sorry, but this is farewell"
"My family comes first
And I'm marring another sir"
Jimmy was so sad, he was so depressed
He lost what he considered in his life was the best
as time went by
Jimmy started acting out of line
And then came that awful night
...He was racing on the asphaul
...Then he destroyed "Little Bastard"
But that wasn't all
That's when James Dean's life came to a halt

Chorus: This is dedicate to the ones, who will always be forever young
Their memory will alway be in our thoughts
And our love for them in our hearts
To us you are true icons
Too bad that so early you were gone
You are the ones we never forgot

I just love the chorus cuz it expresses wut I, and many, feel for these late greats. So wut U guyz think ?

Lol. I'd love to hear the actual song itself. I have no talent whatsoever when it comes to poetry/song writing. That's really great, very original. Kudos to ya!
