*knock knock* Options

whenever people knock on the door, i don't get it unless its my parents (and i know this because they shout my name out in chinese). especially when i am alone, i don't care who it is, i just won't open the door because i am scared (even if it's someone i know). especially when its strangers, i get petrified and i wouldn't dare to move. and plus, we don't have those little magnifying glass on our door.

what are you like and do when people knock on your door?

Well i never get the door. Partially because im lazy, and partially because i know the person at the door is never here to see me. Either my parents would get it, or if they're not home, no one will. Last time someone came to my door was about a week ago, when Jehovas Whitnesses wouldn't leave me alone. They stood outside ringing the doorbell for 20 minutes.

But sometimes, when family comes over unexpendedly and my parents aren't home, i get creeped out. I get really quiet so they don't hear me. I don't have a peephole, so i don't bother looking through the window. They might see me and get mad. Eventually they would assume no one is home. And then i would calm down. Lol im a weirdo .

yeah i never open the door either, i don't like having people over because my parents will make fun of them after they leave those jehovah's witnesses are weird...it's like they wait there to make sure you're not home until they annoy someone else when a friend of my parents or relatives come over (rarely) i go to my room too...but it's because i'm really shy

I never answer. Just like I never answer the house phone. It's never for me

yeah...whoever is important calls my cell phone anyway


i think you should probably talk to your parents about installing that peephole and one of those chains on your door...maybe that will help you get over it
