Braces Help, For all your braces experience.. Options

1. i just got my braces on Saturday

2. my teeth hurts everytime when i chew, bite, and eat.

3. i cant eat alot and i cant stuck all my food in my mouth ...

4. is that normal ?

omg that is normal. Don't worry about it, give it 1 month, then you'll be fine. Eat soft food, like mashed potatoes, or soup. For snacks, eat yogurt, pudding, and jello.

Plus it also sore, when it get tighten. Soon you will get used to it. Let's face it, I did.

Anyway, for me, brushing my teeth hurt when I wake up in the morning. JUst a little thing touching your teeth hurts. Every little damn thing hurts when you acidentally hit your mouth.

And err....Well you get to pick pretty colors for your braces though.  Pretty colors~ And um....after all this like a year or two. You get them off and no it doesn't hurt..At least I don't remember anything hurting for me. *thumbs up* SO yeah. :D

yea, when i turn over my head facing the pillow.. my teeth started hurting cuz th pillow is touching my mouth .. i chose dark blue w/ shiny sparks

braces hurt like a BITCH....good luck
after 3 year sof braces , you wear your retainer for a year, than after a year you wear your retainer when you sleep..i think forever
...on braces, there is this rubber thing that connects one braces onto another, it pulls your teeth together....tsk tsk that was hell

man, i dont wanna hear about that either ..

I got my braces on in fifth grade and got them off in seventh. I'm really glad that I got them on so early because I got them off early too. I would hate to have them now. It's normal for your teeth to hurt when you get them on and after every appointment that you have. I usually would take some painkillers and until they kicked in, I would eat applesauce.

oo . painkillers. .. i never thought of that.

Pretty sure it is. :] You'll get used to it. I may or may not get braces.. so ermm.. yeah. XD

My crush just got braces. He looks even HOTTER!

my friend had to go on a mashed potatoe and jello diet for a while

yummy .. so i think its true that people w/ braces get the good stuff to eat ..
