White history month?, racism Options

Okay, so I am not trying to be racist or anything, but who here agrees with me that the black people are getting way more recognition than the whites?

Now we have black history month, black activists month, and negro colleges/college funds? This is just not fair.

Everyone believes that if we have a white history month then we will be racist? We aren't. Blacks are getting everything nowadays and if the white people try to put say into anything, it gets shoved back in our face as a racist comment.

I love black history and everything, but I have pride in being white and we get no recognition whatsoever? Does anyone agree with me..

And please don't say I am being racist. I live in the South for God's sake.

i really dont think thats entirely true. what about the tower of york incedent? when a whole town of Jews was pushed inside and burnt alive? round about 1000 AD if my memory serves me right, or a bit later.

That's not what was proposed. It was to recognize a white history month. The first post said nothing about honoring other minorities.

know that white people nowadays aren't responsible for the horrors of past centuries. But it did happen and we shouldn't just scrap it. Hispanic History Month, Asian History Month, Native American History Month, Jewish History Month, those are all things that need to be widely celebrated. The reason why BHM got so big is because we organized it, we demanded it, we fought for it. Get those groups to do the same.

thats not ecxactly what was said. what people, specifically Sadolek (sp?, sorry) Acid has said, and proven, is that in certain situations, being black can be beneficial, such as on colledge apps. if u have some figures which disproves this. please share and we will duly aknowledge them.
