When I first came to U.S in 4th grade, I was sent into ESL and I would get confused between kitchen and chicken. Not that I didn't know the different, but the pronounciations always confused me. Haha. But I never make that mistake anymore!
Was I the only one?

well....you could count the time i said "homophobic" instead of "homophonic"...and that was only...last semester
