Most people obviously know that Santa Claus doesn't exist, but most parents lie to young children every year that Santa Claus exists and stuff like that, and on Christmas day, the gifts "are mysteriously under the Christmas tree" and the parents say Santa Claus gave it to them (when the parents really know he didn't).
Should parents keep lying to them or not? |

my parents never instigated the whole santa claus thing in my household, and we do this thing where christmas presents are given intermittently from thanksgiving to about new years. yeah, we're asian.
i would probably lie to my kids about santa claus. after all, if they ran around telling the other kids at preschool that santa wasn't real, the teachers and parents would get mad at me about the mass amount of bawling kids. |
