This may be a reaaaally dumb question.. but what's the point of grounding a child?
You know they'll never listen. [Some kids, like me] And you just ground them like it's a game. O__O Some kids don't even behave after their parents ground them. |

The parents may think that grounding them is gonna help them improve the way they behave. But it doesn't.
What most parents don't seem to understand is that life isn't they way it was back in the day. They don't understand that life for the children is getting to be worse now. It isn't like before. Times have changed. I really don't understand the point of grounding someone as most likely, the children will end up disliking their parents, think that they don't care about them, and possibly go to depression. Correcting is one thing. Grounding is another. It's become such a habit for parents to ground their children. I bet if parents were nicer to their children, they would behave 10 times better than they do now. |
