I'm not good at figuring out what quotes mean. And I need to write an essay for one quote. Okay, here are the quotes:
1. "People only see what they are prepared to see." 2. "What you do speaks so loudly that I cannot hear what you say." 3. "Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail." I just need to know what the quotes mean. If you can help, I appreciate it a lot. Thank you. |

1. "People only see what they are prepared to see."
People dont always see what is there, if they dont want to see, or accept something, such as Bush being president again, then they will protest or something. I hope that made sense. 2. "What you do speaks so loudly that I cannot hear what you say." Your action might overpower your message. Like if you are taking something too far, like Hitler (its a topic in debate...) 3. "Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail." There might be another way, so try to discover it yourself, like the telephone. Alex Bell wanted to talk to people, instead of sending them a message. Hope that helps you! ![]() |
