I'm not good at figuring out what quotes mean. And I need to write an essay for one quote. Okay, here are the quotes:
1. "People only see what they are prepared to see." 2. "What you do speaks so loudly that I cannot hear what you say." 3. "Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail." I just need to know what the quotes mean. If you can help, I appreciate it a lot. Thank you. |

1. People don't always follow what they want to follow, which isn't always necessarily the truth. Such as when a fat person believes they are really thin. They believe what they want to and that is what this quote means.
2. You try to get the other person to see your side too much. (This one I know but can't really translate my thoughts into English. Thats the best i can do.) 3. In life you shouldn't follow an example set by others, but make your own decisions. Afterwards, you would leave an example for others to follow. |
