I had a similar problem.
Take REAL good care of your eyes when wearing contacts wash your hands with anti bacterial soap before handeling contacts and rinse the contacts for 5 seconds with the no-rub solution you can get pretty much NE where before putting them in. Chances are that you probably have an infection or a virus in your eyes if they are blood red, maybe from dust that got in them. You should go see your eye doctor who will tell you if you need some anti biotic drops (which are really harsh on your eyes, so he'll only perscribe them if you have an infection; not a virus) If you do get some anti biotic drops DO NOT SKIP any doses (which can be REALLY tempting when you have to put them in every 4 hours!) or they will not get better Try not to wear you contacs longer than what the recomendation is, because they get worn out. Throw those contacs away and if your eyes get better DO NOT reuse them even if you wash them out well because they may still hold the virus/bacteria in them (the rinses you get for contacs only remove protein, not bacteria) Hope everything turns out well and take care! I hope this helped =] |
