Well, I was watching the news this morning and this thing came up about a lot of members of churches were protesting about Spongebob Squarepants. They say he "promotes homosexuality on a child's show". WTF? It's a show, people.
Do you think Spongebob has a reason to be taken off the air, because it may SEEM that he's a homosexual? I'm not prejudice against homosexuality or anything, but I doubt that the creator of Spongebob Squarepants intended for Patrick and Spongebob to have a sexual relationship. Sorry if there is a topic on this, or if it should be in debate. |

i never liked the show... i found the theme song annoying and the storyline just blah. But i think it's unreasonable to just take it off air just because some no-life come out and gathered a group to make a statement. Why in the world would the producer target the show to children and then make the character homosexual? People look way too closely to details these days, they should just chill out and watch (if they like the show) it. Don't they have same gender friends of their own?
