I am currently with my first boyfriend of 4 months almost and my paretns still don't know. I'm afraid they wouldn't accept him because he is 3 years older than I am and that he is of a different race. My dad is very racist and my Mom will probably get very mad for not telling her. They are BOTH getting suspicious.
I really like this guy and I don't want to loose him. How can I tell my folks about him? |

i'm in the same position as you are but my bf's the same race as i am and he's only 2 years older. but i think my parents would accept him (he's a family friend)
Anyways, sit your parents down and just tell them calmly, and if they freak reassure them that nothing bad is gonna happen. |
