Well, I was watching the news this morning and this thing came up about a lot of members of churches were protesting about Spongebob Squarepants. They say he "promotes homosexuality on a child's show". WTF? It's a show, people.
Do you think Spongebob has a reason to be taken off the air, because it may SEEM that he's a homosexual? I'm not prejudice against homosexuality or anything, but I doubt that the creator of Spongebob Squarepants intended for Patrick and Spongebob to have a sexual relationship. Sorry if there is a topic on this, or if it should be in debate. |

But anyways.. hello? We have a whole history of messed up tv/cartoon characters. Why would Spongebob be any different? Barney. Come on. A PURPLE dinosaur. Hangs out with little kids whom he 'loves'. And SnowCaucasian and the Seven Handicapped Little People. (Snow White and the Seven Dwarves.) Those 'Little People' were pretty darn messed. And disordered. There are several other examples. |
