just wondering... what are the chances of getting a virus from p2p like limewire , kazaa and stuff. like if your just downloading mp3s and nothing else. all my friends have been doing that and they havent got a virus. i need 2 convince my dad .. coz i recenlty downloaded limewire and he stil doesnt know wat it is.

and recently one of our spyware remover programs have deleted limewire because it is a "threat" coz ppl can dl from our comp. -_- well duh thats wat it spose 2 do. now i have to redownload it every day (coz my dad scans the comp. for spyware evrynite) or somehow prove to my dad that its perfectly safe.

The RIAA and MPAA pay a company to upload fake song/movie files, but they are really viruses.

This is illegal, but the problem is, in order to tell on them, you have to admit to downloading the song.
