OOOH ... ok .. here's the deal. I just moved to a new school. Now im pressured to be cool, have a boyfriend so on. and i have ... i never hadto do this in my old school. Im not used to it... my friends are having a party ... and they invited me. They are inviting boys and i come from a strict family where i am not allowed to go out with boys. I already lied to my parents saying that there will be more girls then boys, and that the boys are perfect gentlemens ( cough ) .. but ... i feel so guilty .. i hate lying ... i told my friends already and they said that its a way of life... i hate them .. but they are popular and if i express how i feel about them .. they will turn everyone against me .. help ..

Trying to fit in should be the least of your problems. Trying to be you should be the solution. Don't change for noboday. Be yourself. If these cool "friends", if that's what they even are, should understand that you can't go to the party because of the boy problems. And lying is just horrible. They will eventually find out; and the problem would be worse then. So just tell the truth and explain to your friends what you told us- if they were your real "friends", they would understand. If they just get mad at you, then ditch them and make new ones =).
