I was just wondering if anyone could suggest a photo-editing that would work on a macintosh, because a lot of the ones I'v looked into aren't compatible. This would be a great help to me!

IMHO (which doesn't count for much because I'm not very into graphic design),

adobe is the best way to go with macs. photoshop, and i'm not sure but they have another program also that focuses more on freehand art than filters and such.... but photoshop is a beautiful thing..... :)

you could also look at macromedia's stuff- i know they have image software, and i'd imagine it'd be mac compatible. don't know if those are within your price range.

there's also a lot you can accomplish with random programs like greeting card makers & MSpaint-type proggies (if you've ever used windows, you have to know what MSpaint is....) heck, a lot of my older art when I used to do it was done with a greeting card program -- instead of saving the artwork as their format, i'd save it with a gif or jpg extension.... and those programs usually have nice tools and filters. cheaper too.

just experiment I guess. long post short- photoshop is good :)

good luck!
