Most people obviously know that Santa Claus doesn't exist, but most parents lie to young children every year that Santa Claus exists and stuff like that, and on Christmas day, the gifts "are mysteriously under the Christmas tree" and the parents say Santa Claus gave it to them (when the parents really know he didn't).
Should parents keep lying to them or not? |

i think it's just a cute little tradition. most kids gradually figure it out on their own anyway, and it's not like it's an incredibly huge, life-shaking, shocking disappointment. and personally, i'm glad that my parents had me believe in santa claus, it was fun part of childhood setting up noisemaking traps for santa in front of the fireplace. :]
