Is swearing right or wrong? Or is there a more complex answer?
My answer would be that if swearing offends somebody around you, dont do it. But if your with people who dont mind swear words anymore than words like shucks, or darn, than its okay. Because whe you get down to it, swear words have the same effect as saying ouch when you get hurt. They are just a way of expressing your feelings more effectively than regular words can. |

As of late, I have noticed that, when people use it, it sounds rather stupid. Well, at least I think so. It is like that one kid in your class who is using such clichéd words, it sounds just retarded to hear.
Cussing (swearing) seems to go on more than just some 'cool term' that has been used too much. Like 'your mom' jokes. Those just need to rot away. So, I rarely cuss, because when I do, I think I sound stupid. And it bothers me at times. So.. ehh. I don't mind that people cuss, it just.. sounds funny. |
