Most skins on here mess up in firefox. The text is all in the wrong place and stuff. Same when you don't use a certain resolution. Anyone have a list of skins that work for everyone? Or a site that has xanga skins like that?

I'm pretty sure it's the skins that are messed up.

QUOTE(ssj4android @ Jan 5 2005, 9:22 PM) Hey, that's impolite. Most of the designers here don't design for firefox browsers because it's dificult to do so with Xanga. You must follow their template and code accordingly to achieve what you want, which can't be done on Firefox most of the time especially since Firefox doesn't support a lot of CSS coding. |

It's true though. Don't blame the browser because it's the designer who can't code correctly. Firefox sticks to standards. If you design correctly for Firefox, it shows up in IE correctly most of the time and in every other browser all the time. |

If you design correctly for Firefox, it shows up in IE correctly most of the time and in every other browser all the time. Actually firefox blatantly overpasses the standard, even Opera who is considered to be the strictest browser is easier to code for. Personally I dont feel like spending hours in coding something I made in half an hour so it could work for 20% of people. If you dont like it make your own, or use Avant like I do Edit: Just because you code something correctly in firefox does not mean it will work on every browser. Firefox is a branch of a European browser, the codes are different and firefox does not support about 75% of css codes that this country uses. |
