OOOH ... ok .. here's the deal. I just moved to a new school. Now im pressured to be cool, have a boyfriend so on. and i have ... i never hadto do this in my old school. Im not used to it... my friends are having a party ... and they invited me. They are inviting boys and i come from a strict family where i am not allowed to go out with boys. I already lied to my parents saying that there will be more girls then boys, and that the boys are perfect gentlemens ( cough ) .. but ... i feel so guilty .. i hate lying ... i told my friends already and they said that its a way of life... i hate them .. but they are popular and if i express how i feel about them .. they will turn everyone against me .. help ..

you shouldn't have to lie to yourself, your friends, and your family to be "cool"...how old are you? if you're still in middle school, then i understand why you want to be popular soo bad...news flash-after 8th grade, there is no real popular crowd in highschool. people realize what bullshit it is and just become who they are and have a group of friends who are true and real. Don't ever change yourself to be on of the cool kids, those kids aren't even cool. They are usually the most hated ones in school. Stop being so shallow and find people who like your for YOU.
