Utada Hikaru is a Japanes singer and she is really great. Even tho I don't know what she is saying. So is Boa. I love Utada's "Sakura Drops" and "Simple and Clean". And Boa's "Every heart" and "Amazinf Kiss".

I love Utada Hikaru's album First Love. Pop songs generally annoy me, but Jpop I can tolerate. Her voice is very impressive for an asian woman. I don't listen to alot of asian music anymore, but Utada Hikaru is probably my favorite, she's very real and down to earth. I haven't heard her english cd though...
BoA's songs are catchy, but I don't like voice that much. Too generically high pitched. Does she really know how to speak all those languages? She sings in like 4 different languages. Her chinese and english accents a little rough though. So is her japanese from what I've heard. There was also a rumor that she was gonna be in the 4th harry potter movie or something... but some other girl's doing it. |
