my personal philosophy is that just because there is a goalkeeper, it doesn't mean that you can't score.
 But seriously, it seems like you lost your chance. Take this as a learning experience and next time you find a girl that you like, make sure you express it. Confidence is more of an attractive feature than anything else for a guy!
