OOOH ... ok .. here's the deal. I just moved to a new school. Now im pressured to be cool, have a boyfriend so on. and i have ... i never hadto do this in my old school. Im not used to it... my friends are having a party ... and they invited me. They are inviting boys and i come from a strict family where i am not allowed to go out with boys. I already lied to my parents saying that there will be more girls then boys, and that the boys are perfect gentlemens ( cough ) .. but ... i feel so guilty .. i hate lying ... i told my friends already and they said that its a way of life... i hate them .. but they are popular and if i express how i feel about them .. they will turn everyone against me .. help ..

you should stop making such a big deal out of things, people aren't going to hate you if you don't go to some party, high school isn't going to be hell if that happens, there are people better than that, if those girls were pressuring you when you told them how you felt about things, then what kind of friends will they turn out to be?
would you rather be popular and have empty friends or be less popular and have great friends who are there for you? if you want to be popular then go, if not, stand up to them and stay home or go somewhere and make better friends
